Halloween Monster Cookies are a fun and easy treat! Soft and chewy oatmeal peanut butter cookies loaded with Halloween M&M’s and chocolate chips in each bite. An adorable cookie for your Halloween party!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays for so many reasons! One being that the recipes you can create are so delicious and spooky at the same time! The googly candy eyes on these make them adorably spooky!

These deliciously chewy Halloween cookies are perfect for getting in the Halloween spirit! They’re the perfect amount of spooky and adorable for the whole family! It’s an easy Halloween dessert anyone can make! And there’s no need to have chill dough on this recipe!

Key ingredients for this Recipe

Peanut Butter

You could use crunchy peanut butter for this recipe, but I feel like creamy is the way to go. It gives these chewy cookies the perfect texture. These cute monster cookies are perfect for your peanut butter lovers!

Old-Fashioned Oats

Old-fashioned rolled oats are better for baking and cooking because they retain their texture better than quick oats.

Sugar

I use both brown and white sugar for these cookies. I love the flavor and texture that the molasses in brown sugar gives cookies, and a couple of tablespoons of white sugar gives it the perfect amount of crispiness!

Butter

Melted butter is used in this Halloween monster cookie to get that fudgy-yet-cooked texture. It makes these easy Halloween cookies to die for!

Vanilla extract

Vanilla extract acts like salt does on the savory side: It enhances all the other flavors in the cookie!

Chocolate

Halloween m&m and chocolate chips pack this Halloween cookie recipe. You could also use Reese’s pieces in place of the Halloween m&ms.

Candy Eyeballs

Cute candy eyes are edible eyeballs that make these Halloween cookies so much fun! They can be found in the baking aisle at your local grocery store around Halloween
