This winter is just flying by, and I haven’t planned my Christmas menu yet. My family always eats turkey on both Thanksgiving and Christmas, so we’ve got that taken care of, but I have nothing planned for sides or dessert. What I do know, is that this pomegranate Moscow mule will be in my hand at all times.
Not only is this one delicious cocktail to enjoy, but it’s super festive. I find that if you start a cocktail in a copper mug, it’s automatically festive, and so pretty to boot! Adding the pomegranate twist on one of my favorite cocktails, and the beautiful red color of my pomegranate Moscow mule makes this a pretty and festive cocktail this time of year.
Making this pomegranate Moscow mule is insanely easy. All you need is vodka (or bourbon), pomegranate juice, lime juice and ginger beer. If you’re making it in batches, you can even create a pomegranate ginger beer (just mix a 2 to 1 ratio) and keep it in a pitcher for guests to create their desired cocktail. Pomegranates are super pretty, so it’s nice to have a few on hand to throw on your tablescape as well!
Pick a favorite copper mug that you like, and let’s get this party started! I got these gorgeous mugs from Old Moscow on Amazon. They make the perfect gift for family and friends!
