Persimmons Salad for Thanksgiving

How to make

Persimmon fruit matures late in  the fall and can stay on the tree until the winter months. The two main types of persimmons are fuyu and hachiya.

Slice stem ends off of the persimmons and slice the rest of the berry into 1/4″ slices.

Slice apples into 1/4 inch slices.

Make the dressing by whisking together apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, mustard, olive oil, salt and black pepper in a small bowl.

Assemble salad ingredients.
