Start in the middle of the cupcake and swirl the buttercream around like a big “e.”  Release the pressure on the piping bag as you reach the end of the swirl.

For the egg nests, you’ll be using the grass tip. I like to form the nests over the end of the vanilla frosting swirl so you cover up that open end.
