Easy Chicken Piccata

What is Piccata?

Piccata is a traditional Italian dish that includes meat, usually veal or chicken, sliced thin, dredged in flour, then cooked in a delicious white wine sauce with lemon juice, butter, and capers!

1. When butter and oil start to sizzle, add the chicken.

2. When chicken is browned, flip and cook other side.

3. Remove and transfer to a warm plate.

4. Add shallots and garlic.

5. Add flour and mix well. 

6. Deglaze the pan with wine. Add chicken broth.

7. Return chicken to the pan. Add lemon juice & capers and simmer.
