It’s all about the brown sugar! The molasses causes the proteins in the cookie dough to firm up faster, creating the perfect chewy texture!

Let's get started!

1. Cream butter & sugar

2. Add in eggs & vanilla

3. Beat in dry ingredients

4. Add oats & chocolate chips

5. Chill for at least 1hr!

Without chilling the dough, your cookies will spread and you’ll miss out on the soft chewy texture.

6. Scoop on cookie sheet

7. Bake, cool & enjoy!
