Bourbon Peach Lemonade Granita

1. Add peaches & water to sauce pan. Bring to a boil  & let cool

2. Add to blender & pulse until smooth

3. Strain, add lemon juice, water, and bourbon. 

4. Freeze. Scoop. Serve

What is a Granita?

A frozen fruit dessert made from fresh fruit and water, blended and frozen until icy, flaked with a fork, and frozen again. It’s slightly different than a sorbet in that the texture of a granita is coarse rather than silky smooth.
