  • Yield: 4 servings (14-16 meatballs) 1x
  • Category: Dinner
  • Method: Stovetop

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1 small onion, grated or very finely minced

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

  • ¾ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano

  • ½ cup finely crumbled feta

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges for serving

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the meatball mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, crumbled feta, and lemon juice. Mix gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender.

2. Shape the meatballs
Roll the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs. You should get approximately 14–16 meatballs.

Air Fryer Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.

  2. Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.

  3. Arrange the meatballs in a single layer, leaving space between each one.

  4. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.

  5. Cook until the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F.

Skillet Method

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the meatballs and cook for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally.

  3. Cook until browned on all sides and fully cooked through.

To Serve

Transfer the meatballs to a serving platter and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top. Serve with lemon wedges for extra brightness.

Notes

These meatballs pair beautifully with tzatziki, warm pita, rice, or a Greek salad.

For extra flavor, sprinkle with additional parsley and crumbled feta before serving.

Do not overmix the meat mixture; this helps keep the meatballs tender.
