Transform your Thanksgiving leftover turkey into delicious Thanksgiving sliders. Perfect for game nights and cozy gatherings.

The days right after Thanksgiving Day are some of my favorites in the kitchen.  Thanksgiving dinner is behind us, the house finally quiets down, but the fridge is full of treasures. And while I love a Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich as much as the next person, sometimes we need something a little more fun — something warm, melty, and just irresistibly good.

These Thanksgiving Turkey Leftovers Sliders take all the best parts of the holiday plate and layer them into soft, buttery rolls that bake into the coziest pull-apart snack. They’re the perfect way to celebrate game day, family movie nights, or that moment when someone wanders into the kitchen asking, “So… what are we doing with the leftovers?

The first time I made these turkey cranberry sliders, they didn’t even make it to the table. Everyone gathered around the kitchen island, pulling them apart while they were still steaming. There was laughing, nibbling, “just one more” grabbing — the kind of relaxed, happy moment that feels like Thanksgiving just without all the scheduling and oven-timing stress. Now, this is our go-to tradition for the weekend after the holiday.

Why We Love These Sliders

We love these Thanksgiving Turkey Leftovers Sliders because they take everything we adore about the holiday plate, paired with

melty cheese and tucked neatly into one delicious, shareable bite. Instead of juggling five different containers of leftovers, everything melts together in perfect harmony — the savory stuffing, the tender turkey, the creamy melted provolone, and that sweet-tart pop of cranberry sauce.

And honestly, these little sandwiches just feel fun. They’re easy to pull apart, perfect for grazing, and somehow always the first thing to disappear at parties or family movie nights. Plus, because they bake all at once in a single dish, clean-up is minimal —exactly what we need after hosting a holiday (or simply recovering from hosting one!).

They’re warm, comforting, and nostalgic — but they also feel fresh and new. It’s a cozy reimagining of Thanksgiving that keeps the celebration going… a great way to use up those leftovers without repeating the same old turkey sandwich.

Key Ingredients for these Thanksgiving Sliders

  • Slider Rolls
These soft, pillow-y rolls are the perfect base. They crisp slightly on top while staying warm and squishy inside, making each bite feel nostalgic and comforting.
  • Stuffing
This is what gives these sliders their unmistakable Thanksgiving flavor. Stuffing adds herbs, buttery texture, and that “I could eat this all day” savory warmth.
  • Cooked Turkey
Use shredded or thinly sliced turkey breast (or a mix of white and dark meat!). Shredding helps the sliders stay layered and melt together without falling apart.
  • Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
A little sweetness is essential here — it brightens everything, cuts through the richness, and adds a pop of color. Whole berry sauce adds beautiful texture.
  • Provolone Cheese
Provolone melts smoothly and has just the right mild creaminess. It ties all the flavors together like a cozy blanket.  You  could also use swiss cheese or any type of cheese you’d like
  • Salted Butter
Brushing melted butter over the rolls before baking gives us that golden, slightly glossy, bakery-style finish we all love.
  • Herbs de Provence
This elegant blend has rosemary, thyme, lavender, and savory notes — subtle, but it adds a Thanksgiving-market-fresh aroma to every bite.
  • Fresh Parsley
A little finish of fresh green makes this turkey sliders recipe look finished and brightens up the richness.
  • Garlic
Because melted garlic-herb butter on warm rolls is pure heaven. It’s the aroma that gathers everyone back into the kitchen.

Step-by-Step Instructions to make Leftover Turkey Sliders

Four-step collage showing how to assemble Thanksgiving leftover turkey sliders: first, stuffing is spooned onto the bottom halves of slider rolls; next, slices of leftover turkey are layered on top; then provolone cheese slices are added; and finally, each slider is topped with spoonfuls of whole berry cranberry sauce before placing on the top buns.
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
This ensures everything heats evenly without drying out.
  2. Prepare the rolls.
Slice the rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom layer into a baking dish.
  3. Layer the ingredients.
Spread the stuffing evenly across the bottom layer.
Add the layers of turkey on top.
Then, lay the provolone slices over everything to melt beautifully.  Spoon the cranberry sauce over the turkey in an even drizzle.
  4. Place the top of the rolls back on.
  5. Make the butter topping.
In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, garlic, herbs de Provence, and parsley.
  6. Brush the butter sauce generously over the top of the rolls
Don’t be shy — this is where the flavor magic happens.
  7. Bake.
Bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until the cheese melts and tops are golden brown.
    Serve warm.
These are best eaten right out of the dish while the cheese is still gooey.

How to Store & Reheat Leftover Sliders

If you have any sliders left (which is rare in my house!), they store beautifully. Simply place the leftover sliders in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

When you’re ready to reheat them, skip the microwave — it can make the rolls rubbery and the stuffing soggy. Instead, try one of these:

  • Oven: Warm the sliders in a baking dish at 300°F for 8–10 minutes, or until heated through.
  • Air Fryer: Heat at 300°F for 3–4 minutes for a perfectly warm center and lightly crisp top.

They’ll taste just as melty and cozy as the day you made them.
