Thanksgiving is around the corner, and I’m putting a thanksgiving twist on a classic burger! This is a great way to use up your thanksgiving leftovers without having to eat the same old turkey dinner! This juicy and delicious turkey burger made with ground turkey is a great idea for weeknights. You can also enjoy this easy recipe for outdoor grilling as well as indoors!

We all love burgers and crave for it on a weekly basis. So enter the turkey burger into your dinner or lunch, everyone will enjoy it. You can make these burgers 365 days, even in summer or on cold winter days.

All you need to make the best turkey burger is:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 oz brie cheese
  • 1 oz prosciutto

How to make this delicious Thanksgiving turkey burger

Here are some easy steps to make a juicy turkey burger ready.

Step 1:

In a large bowl, mix 1 lb ground turkey, 1 tsp garlic and onion powder, parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper.

Step 2:

Mix these ingredients. This mixture is for 4 equal-sized flat burger patties. Make sure to Shape the patties 1/2 inch thick.

Step 3:

Take a pan and bake the turkey patties for 5-7 mins until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Take the brie cheese on top and cover until melted.

Step 4

Make this delicious sauce by combining 1 cup of Cranberries with 1/4 cup of water in a saucepan. Turn the heat on medium flame, boil them and cook until cranberries burst. Add the orange zest for an extra burst of flavor in the cranberry sauce.

Step 5: 

Toast the burger buns until they get golden, layer the buns with greens, prosciutto, and top with cranberry sauce!
