Quench your thirst with a grapefruit mocktail. This non-alcoholic drink balances sweet guava and tart grapefruit flavors.

Why We Love This Recipe For Guava Grapefruit Mocktail

It’s not just pretty—it’s a layered, well-balanced drink that doesn’t rely on alcohol to shine. The sweet guava and tart grapefruit create a fruity foundation, while rosemary and tonic elevate it to something you’d proudly serve at a dinner party or sip during a slow morning on the patio.

This delicious mocktail couldn’t be any easier to make, no bartending skills required! The rosemary simple syrup comes together in minutes, and all you need is a cocktail shaker to combine the rest! The combination of grapefruit, guava and rosemary is the perfect balance of tart, sweet and herbaceous! It’s sure to be your go-to mocktail of the summer! Serve it at a baby shower, enjoy it during dry January, or while dining at home with some fresh spring rolls or a summer charcuterie board! Looking for more drink recipes? Click here!

Key Ingredients for this Recipe

Grapefruit juice

Grapefruit balances the sweetness of the guava with a touch of bitterness and acidity. It lightens the drink and adds a refreshing zing. Using fresh juice makes a big difference—you’ll get a brighter, cleaner citrus note.
You can use fresh grapefruit juice or store-bought grapefruit juice, or squeeze your own at home for this sparkling grapefruit mocktail recipe! You can find fresh grapefruit juice in the produce section of most grocery stores.

Fresh rosemary

This herby syrup adds a woodsy, aromatic note that ties everything together. Rosemary pairs beautifully with both guava and grapefruit, grounding the fruitiness with a hint of savory depth. Sprigs of rosemary are used as a garnish to this rosemary grapefruit mocktail, and rosemary sprigs are also chopped an added to sugar and water to make a simple syrup right at home!

Soda water

Soda water or club soda are added to this healthy mocktail for a little fizz! Grapefruit soda or lime flavored sparkling water would also work for this grapefruit mocktail. You could also substitute tonic water if you want that extra citrus flavor

Guava nectar

This tropical star brings natural sweetness, floral undertones, and a rich pink hue to the mocktail. It’s thick and fruity, which gives the drink body and flavor depth without being cloying.
Guava nectar is made from the pulp of the guava fruit. Nectar is sweeter than juice – but also easier to find, since pure guava juice is more difficult to produce from the thick pulp. You can find cartons of guava nectar at your local grocery store in the juice aisle. I love the flavor combination that guava and grapefruit bring to this guava mocktail refresher.

I made these for a cookout and they were a huge hit! Absolutely delicious. (I used soda instead of tonic).
