1/3 cup butter flavored crisco

1 stick softened butter

1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp baking soda

1 1/2 cups flour

1/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa

1/2 tsp salt

2 cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375.

Cream together butter, crisco and brown sugar.

Add in eggs and mix well.

Combine in the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and add to the bowl with butter, eggs and sugar. Mix until just combined.

Stir in chocolate chips until combined.

Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough 2 inches apart onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake 7-9 minutes at 375 degrees F. Do not overbake.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely before eating!
