Key Ingredients for this Recipe
Cauliflower
You may choose purple, orange or regular cauliflower for these crispy cauliflower tacos. Rinse the head of cauliflower in cold water and pat dry. Remove the leaves, then cut it into quarters. Cut out the core and stems and cut or pull apart the small florets by hand.
Panko Bread crumbs
Panko bread crumbs help make the cauliflower super crispy. They’re Japanese style bread crumbs that are dryer and flakier consistency than regular bread crumbs. Panko bread crumbs can be found near the other bread crumbs or in the Asian aisle at your local grocery store.
Sweet Chili Sauce
Sweet chili sauce can be found in the Asian aisle of most grocery stores. There are a few different brands that vary in sweetness and spiciness, so the amount of sauce used on the cauliflower may need to be adjusted to your taste.
Eggs
Beaten eggs help the bread crumbs adhere to the cauliflower
Tortillas
I used regular flour tortillas for these crunchy cauliflower tacos, but you can use corn, gluten free or hard taco shells.
Additional Ingredients
Optional Toppings for these crispy cauliflower tacos include:
