Key Ingredients for this Recipe
Crab Meat
I recommend using high quality fresh crab meat versus imitation crab meat, which can be found in the refrigerated seafood section in your local grocery store. Real crab meat is pricier, but will make your dip taste that much better!
Silver Spring Foods Prepared Horseradish
Silver Spring Foods, the world’s largest grower and processor of horseradish, offers a variety of horseradish products, sauces and specialty mustards, including their classic Prepared Horseradish! It adds a delicious Zing to this savory dip!
Ketchup
Ketchup is combined with the Silver Spring Foods Prepared Horseradish to create a cocktail sauce, which makes this crab rangoon dip so unique!
Cheese
I used an Italian cheese blend of parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese and romano. You can find this in the dairy aisle at the grocery store pre-blended, or you could shred your own.
Cream Cheese
A cream cheese base makes dips extra creamy and easy to scoop without breaking your chips and crackers
Worcestershire sauce
Adding worcestershire sauce to this dip is an easy way to add deep flavor to uncooked sauces
Mayonnaise
The tangy flavor, and the creamy texture of mayo is the perfect addition to this cheesy crab rangoon dip.
Sour Cream
The combination of sour cream, mayonnaise and cream cheese makes the perfect consistency to any dip!
Lemon Juice
Freshly squeezed lemon juice adds a bright freshness to this dip! You can use bottled lemon juice if fresh isn’t available
Other Ingredients
Green onions- chopped scallions or green onions are optional, but make a great garnish on top of the dip!
Garlic – fresh garlic is best, you may substitute 1/8 of a teaspoon of garlic powder if fresh isn’t available.
