- Measuring Cups (1/3, 3/4, 1/2 cup, and 1 cup)

Ingredients For Your Christmas Sangria recipe
- 1 bottle dry red wine, like like cabernet sauvignon or pinot noir
- 2 cups pomegranate cranberry juice
- 1/3 cup Triple Sec or other orange liqueur
- 3/4 cup cranberry simple syrup (recipe below)
- 1 navel orange, thinly sliced
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- Fresh fruit like green apples, blackberries or other seasonal fruits
- Ice cubes for serving
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Star anise, optional
- Cinnamon sticks, optional
- Pomegranate arils, optional
How to Make Christmas Sangria
Step 1. In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, cranberry pomegranate juice, Triple Sec, 3/4 cup of the cranberry simple syrup, orange slices, and cranberries.
Step 2. Next, make the cranberry simple syrup by combining 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup cranberries in a saucepan.
Step 3. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar has dissolved.
Step 4. Mix into sangria and stir to combine.
Step 5. Finally, chill in the fridge for 2-4 hours or until ready to serve or serve immediately over ice.
