Alfredo Sauce

You can use homemade alfredo sauce or your favorite jarred alfredo sauce for this delicious dip!

Chicken

This hot dip is the perfect way to use leftover chicken! Shred up a rotisserie chicken and add it right to the bowl.

Italian cheese blend

Italian cheese blend – Parmesan, Asiago, Fontina, and Provolone. Feel free to also include romano cheeses if that’s your preference!

Parmesan Cheese

Extra cheese is added to the top of the dip before going in the oven so you get those golden brown bits on top that everyone loves!

Cream cheese

Adding room temperature cream cheese to this chicken alfredo dip gives it a little tang and makes it extra gooey and irresistible!

Cherry tomatoes

Bruschetta tomatoes are added to the top of all that cheesy goodness to add a burst of freshness!

Step By Step Instructions To Make Chicken Alfredo Dip

Step 1 – combine ingredients in a large bowl

Combine softened cream cheese, chicken, alfredo sauce, Italian seasoning, basil, a teaspoon salt and shredded Italian cheese blend in a large bowl. Use a spatula or hand mixer to combine.  

Step 2 – Spread in a baking dish

Spread cheesy mixture into the bottom of a baking dish or medium skillet.

Step 3 – Top with additional cheese

Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Step 4 – Bake until bubbly

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, until cheese is bubbling and beginning to brown. Turn on the broiler for a couple minutes to get those extra brown bits on top.

Step 5 – Top with bruschetta tomatoes

Combine sliced cherry tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt, sugar and pepper and spoon on top of baked chicken alfredo dip

Bring the cream cheese to room temperature before combining with the rest of the ingredients. It will ensure easy mixing!

Making it ahead of time? Mix all of the ingredients together, but don’t bake it yet. Store it in your fridge. It can be stored up to 8 hours. Take it out and cook it according to the recipe card below! Add a few minutes to the cooking time since it started out cold.

Got leftovers? Cool the dip completely and store it in an airtight container in your fridge. It will keep up to 3-4 days in the fridge.

Description

Ingredients

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded Italian Cheese Blend 

2 oz  cream cheese, softened

1 1/2 cups alfredo sauce

1 1/2 cups cooked chopped chicken breast 

1/4 cup torn basil 

For the bruschetta tomatoes

1 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced in quarters

1/8 cup basil, chiffonade

1 clove garlic

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 tbl olive oil

1/4 tsp sugar


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, Italian cheese blend, fresh basil, alfredo sauce and Italian seasoning in 1 cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan, chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and stir until combined.

Spread cheesy mixture into the bottom of a baking dish.

Top with parmesan cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

While the dip is baking, assemble bruschetta tomatoes by combining tomatoes, basil, garlic, salt, pepper and sugar in a bowl.

Top baked chicken alfredo dip with bruschetta tomatoes and serve with baguette slices, veggies or chips.
