Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon birthday cake extract
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet.
  • Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Mix in egg, birthday cake extract, and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients.
  • Fold in white chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  • Scoop dough onto baking sheet.
  • Bake for 13 minutes.
  • Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overbake—centers should look slightly underdone for the best texture.
  • Add extra sprinkles on top before baking for a more vibrant look.
